Chambers of Commerce sit at the heart of local business communities across the UK and the world, bringing together and supporting thousands of companies of every size and from every sector to succeed.
Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber (AGCC) is one of the most vibrant and influential in the country and we are here for two simple reasons. To support our members to do better business today while helping create the vibrant economy that will underpin the future success of our region.
Our suite of services supports members in a range of ways. From raising awareness to creating new business opportunities. From upskilling staff through our training programmes to helping exporters and importers to move their goods and identify new markets. From keeping their finger on the pulse of the business news they need to know via our leading media channels to learning and networking at our events programme. From the management insights provided by our research team to making savings on business services. And much more.
The Chamber is also the voice of business, at the front line of providing support to businesses to make the best decisions for themselves and their people. Our direct line into Government at all levels has led to some significant ‘wins’ reflecting what our business communities needed.
It’s an exciting time at AGCC - we’re an organisation with the drive and purpose to create the connections the help the North-east economy thrive. We are passionate about this region, its businesses, people.
We are looking for a person or people who share these values to join our cause as non-executive Board directors. Specifically, candidates who will complement the knowledge and skills balance we already have, to ensure a diverse and inclusive board reflecting the communities we serve and the challenges and opportunities we face.
See the existing Board and Policy Chamber members.
