Buckle up, because William Nicol, the trusted leader in transport, industrial and engineering services, is driving full throttle into a new adventure with Fierce Beer to celebrate an impressive 90+ years of business.

The result? The bold and spirited ‘Mother Trucker' beer - crafted to celebrate the trucking industry, support some incredible charities, and give fans a taste of something truly special.

William Nicol’s ‘Mother Trucker’ range, which includes both a unique beer and exclusive merchandise, is a perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and a whole lot of heart. All profits from the sale of both the beer and merch will go directly to charitable causes. The RHA will be the beneficiary of the merchandise profits, and Pick-ups for Peace will benefit from the profits of the beer sales.

In recognition of the connection between the transport industry and responsible driving, ‘Mother Trucker’ will also look to feature an alcohol-free version of the beer, allowing those who are driving, working, or prefer not to consume alcohol to enjoy the full experience without compromise. This version will ensure that fans can raise a glass (or a can) in support of the celebration, all while being mindful of safety and responsibility.

The official launch will take place at Aberdeen's Music Hall during the Northern Lights Aberdeen Beer Festival this weekend (Saturday April 11th), where beer lovers and merch fans alike can get their hands on the beer on draught and limited-edition products, including a branded hoodie, trucker cap, t-shirt and miniature William Nicol model DAF truck. For those who can't make it to the festival, the merchandise will also be available for purchase online at www.williamnicol.co.uk/store and the beers via Fierce Beer's website.

Darren Nicol, Managing Director of William Nicol, revved up about the partnership, “We’ve been in business for over 90 years and always felt that the work truckers do is often overlooked. This is a way for us to celebrate the industry, but also do something meaningful by giving back to charities close to our heart. It’s a toast to the past, present, and future truckers for all their graft—while making sure we stay responsible behind the wheel! We look forward to welcoming everyone at the Aberdeen Beer Festival this weekend where the public can get their hands on the exclusive merch and beer on draught.”

Dave Grant, Founder and Managing Director of Fierce Beer, was equally excited about the collaboration, “Working with William Nicol has been a really fun journey for us. We love working with brands that have a strong legacy, and when we heard about their 90th anniversary, we knew we had to craft something special. ‘Mother Trucker’ by William Nicol and Fierce isn’t just a great beer; it’s a way to give back to the community and support causes that matter. Plus, the alcohol-free version ensures that everyone, whether they're driving or not, can be part of the celebration.”
