Aberdeen-based William Nicol, the family-run trusted leader in transport, industrial and engineering services, has appointed Martin O'Neill as its new Waste Treatment Manager.

Martin joins the third-generation, family-run business with extensive experience in the waste and environmental services sector, bringing a wealth of operational knowledge and expertise to the role. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong track record in waste management, customer service and regulatory compliance, making him well placed to support William Nicol's continued growth across industrial services and waste solutions.
In his new position, Martin will oversee the company's waste management operations, working closely with customers to deliver safe, efficient and environmentally responsible solutions while ensuring compliance with the latest industry legislation.
William Nicol, which was founded in 1935 and remains proudly family-owned, provides industrial services, transport, liquid logistics and waste management solutions to customers across the energy, utilities, manufacturing, food and drink and construction sectors. The company operates a licensed waste transfer station alongside a comprehensive fleet of specialist vehicles and industrial cleaning equipment from its headquarters in Portlethen.
