New exclusive events space Tropicalismo, recently launched by 10 Dollar Shake and based on Langstane Place, has planned two ticketed wine tastings in November to show off the new venue.
Beaujolais Nouveau Day, which takes place on the third Thursday (20th November), sees John Chalmers of Enotria & Coe and 10 Dollar Shake's Adrian Gomes host a wine tasting of the 'fastest wine in the world', aka the 2025 release of Beaujolais Nouveau. From grape to glass in less than 60 days, attendees can enjoy five samples of Beaujolais wine, including a number of fresh-off-the-press releases from the likes of Louis Tete, an acclaimed producer from the region. Ticket-holders can also pre-book a cheeseboard to accompany their wine flight.
The second tasting in November takes place on Saturday 27th November and is themed around South American wines, in keeping with the Brazilian-inspired concept of the venue. Attendees will be tasting wines from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil itself, courtesy of family-owned winery Casa Valduga, who themselves hosted a tasting at the venue last year. Ticket sales are limited to 20 and priced at £40pp for five different samples.
Tickets are available from www.thetipplinghouse.com/tastings or by emailing tastings@10dollarshake.com.
The venue is also available for exclusive hire for groups. Contact the venue direct on oi@tropicalismo.co.uk or visit www.tropicalismo.co.uk for more information.
