WTA Energy has strengthened its North American presence with the launch of WTA Energy Houston and the opening of a new office in Houston, Texas.

The expansion marks a significant milestone for WTA Energy, WTA USA Inc., and the wider WTA Group, supporting the company’s ambition to build a full-service US operation.

The Houston team will deliver specialised end-to-end logistics and project cargo solutions, alongside an expanded FAK freight forwarding offering across the United States. With Houston at the heart of the global energy sector, the new office enables closer collaboration with clients and partners while supporting complex, high-value cargo movements across the region.

Houston remains a critical hub for oil and gas, offshore, power, renewables and wider industrial projects, with growing demand for reliable and technically capable logistics support. Establishing a permanent presence in the city allows WTA Energy to combine local execution with its global expertise, ensuring responsive and resilient supply chain solutions for increasingly complex projects.

Steve Petrie from WTA Energy UK said: “Houston is a natural next step in our global expansion. Being on the ground allows us to deliver more responsive, integrated logistics solutions, combining local expertise with the strength of our global network.”

WTA Energy operates from Aberdeen, Dubai, Singapore, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, with additional group offices in the UK, China and the USA. The addition of Jakarta further enhances the company’s global coverage and reinforces its commitment to supporting clients in key energy and industrial hubs worldwide.
