WTA Energy has expanded its Southeast Asia footprint with the launch of PT WTA Energy Indonesia, based in Jakarta.
The new office strengthens the group’s regional project logistics capabilities and enhances support for clients operating across Indonesia’s rapidly developing energy and infrastructure sectors.
PT WTA Energy Indonesia has been established to deliver specialised end‑to‑end logistics and project cargo solutions, providing integrated transport, supply chain and heavy‑lift services across domestic and international markets. The Jakarta team will focus on managing complex, oversized and high‑value cargo, supporting key industries including oil and gas, mining and resources, construction and infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Indonesia continues to experience significant growth in large‑scale industrial and energy projects, with businesses navigating diverse geographies, remote locations and evolving regulatory requirements. The establishment of a dedicated WTA Energy presence in Jakarta enables closer coordination with local partners, ports and authorities, ensuring more predictable and resilient cargo movements throughout the archipelago.
Steve Petrie from WTA Energy UK said: “Indonesia is a strategically important market for our clients, and the launch of PT WTA Energy Indonesia strengthens our ability to deliver dependable project logistics support across Southeast Asia. By combining strong local expertise with our global network, we are well positioned to manage the most challenging cargo movements from origin through to final delivery.”
WTA Energy operates from Aberdeen, Dubai, Singapore, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, with additional group offices in the UK, China and the USA. The addition of Jakarta further enhances the company’s global coverage and reinforces its commitment to supporting clients in key energy and industrial hubs worldwide.
