Your Wedding Exhibition (YWE) is set to return to The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA) on January 23-24, 2027, under the new stewardship of House of Morgan, marking a fresh chapter for one of the North-east's longest-running and best-loved wedding shows.
In a move designed to bring a clearer, more focused wedding-planning message to couples across the North East and beyond, YWE is now working hand in hand with Grampian Wedding Directory, combining two trusted local names under one roof for the benefit of exhibitors and visitors alike.
House of Morgan, set up by Managing Director, Simon Morgan in 1999, has been heavily involved with YWE since 1996, giving continuity for the previous 30 years and into the future.
The 2027 show will shine a spotlight on overseas exhibitors, giving couples a genuine opportunity to plan every element of a destination wedding without leaving the North East. Among the first international names confirmed is Hotel Aquafalls, travelling from Portugal to meet couples face to face - a unique addition that underscores YWE's growing reach well beyond Scotland.
Further international flavour is on the way. A new local travel agent is expected to co-exhibit with Visit Barbados and a premier hotel brand from Barbados, giving couples a direct route to planning a Caribbean celebration. While full confirmation of the Barbados participation is awaited, the potential line-up points to YWE27 being the most internationally diverse exhibition in the show's history.
By the numbers, YWE27 is on course to host around 190 exhibitors in total - a 10% increase on YWE26 - offering couples more choice, more inspiration and more expert advice under one roof than ever before. Returning exhibitors has also hit a record high, with 88% of this year’s exhibitors having confirmed their stand for 2027.
If couples want to hit new heights, YWE27 has also confirmed a local helicopter supplier will be exhibiting in January.
