Aberdeen-based well engineering and project management specialist Zenith Energy has announced its sponsorship of Team Remiges Quinque (V) as they prepare to take on the World’s Toughest Row in December 2026 – one of the most gruelling endurance challenges on the planet.
Known for pushing boundaries in some of the world’s most challenging offshore environments, Zenith Energy is proud to support the five-strong crew – hailing from Peterhead, Fife, Glasgow, and South Shields. They will embark on a 3,000-mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean, rowing unsupported from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to English Harbour, Antigua.
Competing under the name Remiges Quinque (V), the team’s mission is driven by a shared passion for adventure, camaraderie, and charity, with their efforts aiming to raise vital funds and awareness for several worthy causes – Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, Mind, Body & Sole and MND Scotland.

The World’s Toughest Row is renowned as one of the hardest endurance events in the world, testing physical strength, mental resilience, and teamwork to the extreme. Teams face relentless conditions, from high winds and powerful swells to sleep deprivation and isolation, as they row continuously for over a month.
