This workshop aims to develop the capability to prepare for any negotiation and influence the outcome in a positive way.

Key to the success of the individual or organisation is planning and preparation but also understanding the obstacles and hurdles they may need to overcome.

Style and approach may also be critical.

In this one day course, we will discuss many aspects of negotiating with others, with the key outcome being to understand how to influence others and create win-win situations.

What will you learn?

Participants on this course will learn how to:

  • Understand the opposition and partnership opportunities
  • Develop goals and options
  • Consider what the partner’s goals may be and what compromises might occur
  • Determine your red lines
  • Predict and anticipate outcomes
  • Prepare for the consequences whatever the outcome
  • Influence decision making

Who is it for?

This training course is ideal for business owners, managers, business development professionals and technical employees who have the appetite to develop a winning approach to their negotiations.

Cost and duration

This course lasts for one day and is delivered at the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Training Hub by our approved expert trainers.

These sessions are also perfect for groups of staff that require the same training and can also be organised at your offices, an external location of your choosing.
