Aberdeen International Airport concludes its six-week consultation relating to aviation noise.

Members of the local community, other stakeholders and were invited to review the contents of the draft Noise Action Plan and feedback to the airport team.

Airports are required to update noise action plans every five years, and once finalised, the new plan will cover airport operations up until 2023.

Stuart Torpey, Utilities & Environment Asset Manager said: “Thank you to those who have taken the time to submit their queries or feedback. Anyone looking to provide feedback has until 5pm on Friday to do so.

“Once all correspondence has been received, we will consider all points raised. The airport has been working hard to mitigate aircraft noise and we have a comprehensive set of measures in place to do this.”

The airport will publish its complete Noise Action Plan once all responses have been reviewed.
