Aberdeenshire Company Grows International Foothold

A leading provider of innovative asset cleaning and decontamination solutions has announced significant growth in its international foothold, thanks to the completion of its first ever project in Guyana.

In support of an ongoing project, Inverurie-based Denholm MacNamee supplied manpower and kit to carry out the UHP jetting of riser joints for inspection. The first stage of the project took place in Guyana with the second stage occurring aboard a vessel en route to Las Palmas.

The latest announcement follows recent news that the company completed its first ever UHP cleaning project for a major rum producer in the US Virgin Islands, taking knowledge gained in the Scottish distillery sector to a new market.

Commenting on the success of the Guyana project, Denholm MacNamee, managing director, Brian Ritchie said: “By expanding our corporate horizons to embrace the opportunities presented by international markets, we are achieving sustainability within our business.

“The emerging market in Guyana as it works towards first oil presents new and exciting opportunities, and we look forward to exploring these on the back of the success of this initial foray.”

Denholm MacNamee is a leading one-stop provider of asset cleaning and decontamination solutions to the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation and utilities industries and works closely with customers to provide bespoke, uncompromising solutions which give the option to combine services whilst considering key issues such as cost and schedule delivery.
