Aberdeen International Airport is pleased to announce that airBaltic will resume its direct service to Riga from June 2026, reconnecting the North-east of Scotland with the Latvian capital.
The route will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays until September, offering passengers convenient access to one of Eastern Europe’s most dynamic cities.
Flights will be operated by airBaltic’s modern Airbus A220-300 aircraft, known for its spacious seating, offering passengers greater comfort. The aircraft has a range of up to 4,575km and can accommodate up to 149 passengers.
In addition, the airline offers free high-speed SpaceX Starlink internet on board and plans to gradually equip its entire fleet with this service.
