BBC Strictly Come Dancing and serial semi-finalist AJ Pritchard brings his ‘AJ Live 2020’ tour to Hall C at P&J Live on Friday, March 6, 2020. Following his debut tour in 2019, AJ brings his tour to the North-East for the first time.
‘AJ Live 2020’ will combine the best moments from Strictly you know and love, intertwined with new energy packed choreography for all the family, from AJ and his pick of the best new dance talent in the UK.
AJ said, “I am so excited to be bringing ‘AJ Live 2020’ out to theatres around the UK. I have been planning this tour since I first began dancing aged 12, so you are in for a real treat and I cannot wait to share my vision with you. Earlier in 2019 I toured the UK on my own for the first time and each venue had everyone out of their seats dancing and standing ovations each night. ‘AJ Live 2020’ will be no different! I hope you can all join me for the night of your life’.
AJ and his partner Chloe Hewitt represented Great Britain around the world, winning the National Youth Championships three years consecutively and in 2015 won the British Open Youth Latin Champions and the European Youth Latin Champions. In 2013 the pair also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent making it to the semi-finals.
In 2016 AJ was approached to join the cast of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, where he made it to the semi-final with his first celebrity dance partner the Olympian Claudia Fragapane, and made it to the semi-final the following two years with singer Molly King and Paralympian Lauren Steadman last year.
