AMHWAL, a leading Aberdeen-based leadership and organisational development provider, has announced a new initiative aimed at supporting young people across the Northeast by offering free workshops and talks to local schools.
The organisation, founded by leadership expert, organisational psychologist and bestselling author Anurag Rai, has already delivered a number of sessions in primary and secondary schools throughout Aberdeen. According to teachers and students, the feedback has been “incredibly positive”, with many praising the practical tools, relatable approach, and powerful lessons that help young people develop the mindset and confidence needed in today’s world.
“We believe leadership isn’t about job titles,” said Anurag. “It’s about resilience, emotional intelligence, and the belief that you can shape your own future. Young people are ready to learn and grow - sometimes all they need is someone to show them how.”
The free sessions focus on equipping pupils with the skills that matter most beyond the classroom. Topics include Resilience, Growth Mindset, Self-Leadership, Building Confidence, Emotional Intelligence, and Bullying Awareness and proactive approach- all designed to help young people navigate challenges and develop a strong sense of self-belief.
AMHWAL’s mission is simple: to help shape “the leaders of tomorrow” by developing essential life and leadership skills at an early age. The workshops combine psychology, practical exercises, and real-world insights, giving students a chance to reflect, build new habits, and understand their own potential.
Schools in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas are invited to register their interest in booking a free session. Teachers or school leaders can contact AMHWAL directly or email training@amhwal.com for more information.
“With the right tools,” Anurag added, “young people can become more resilient, more confident, and more capable of leading their own lives with purpose.”
AMHWAL encourages anyone who knows a school that may benefit to get in touch and help support the next generation of leaders.
