Amplus Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Nicol as supply chain and logistics manager.

With more than two decades of experience in the energy sector, Gary brings deep expertise across the supply chain, having held senior roles at Petrofac, Wood, Transocean, and KCA Deutag. He joins Amplus with a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations for Tier 1 EPC contractors, particularly on brownfield projects.

Based in Aberdeen, Gary will play a key role in the redeployment and long-term operations of the Petrojarl I - recently acquired by Amplus and widely regarded as one of the most versatile and extensively deployed FPSOs in the industry. His initial focus will be on overseeing newly awarded vessel management and shipyard contracts, while also leading the development and delivery of Amplus Energy’s supply chain strategy for operational activity once the vessel is on-station.
