Join Hospices of Hope from 6:00 pm on August 26 at the Kings Church, Aberdeen, for a screening of the Romanian Film: The Wishing Tree!

The Wishing Tree is the first Romanian charity film ever made and has recently been shown in cinemas throughout Romania and soon to be available on Romanian Netflix. (The film has English subtitles). Refreshments can be enjoyed on arrival from the Café in the foyer, before the film starts at 6:30 pm.

The story: Mara, a 12-year old girl (who is very ill) embarks on a fantastic adventure filled with fun and hope. She discovers a magical tree located in the grounds of a palliative care centre that is a portal to her favourite story from the book of Ion Creanga, “Childhood Memories”.
