ATPI, the global travel management company (TMC), is celebrating several promotions within its Aberdeen team as part of plans to bolster Scottish operations and global customer support.
At the centre of these changes is Nicola Reith, who has been appointed as general manager, Scotland, progressing from her position as Operations Director, Scotland.
Under the leadership of Nicola, ATPI is looking to continue increasing its market share for corporate travel partnerships across diverse industries in Scotland and subsequently, throughout the UK. These aims – including providing travel solutions to the UK energy market – will be aided by Nicola’s extensive experience of corporate and energy travel, including her eight years at ATPI and over 17 years of combined prior experience with FCM Travel Solutions UK and Munro’s Travel Ltd.
Consistent throughout Nicola’s career is her track record of occupying senior leadership and management positions. Alongside supporting business growth objectives, Nicola has been instrumental in strengthening the quality and variety of travel services delivered to clients and has helped shape crucial duty of cure and wellbeing processes and guidelines to support colleagues and clients alike when travelling.
Nicola Reith, General Manager, Scotland
Nicola has taken over her new position from Zara Higgins, who has moved into the role of head of energy. Succeeding Nicola in the role of operations director is ATPI alumni Gemma Lobban, who previously held the position of Strategic Operational Lead following over 18 years with the company.
Additionally, to cement the support provided to clients within the UK energy market, Lauren Durno has been named as head of sales, energy UK. This new role will reflect Lauren’s longstanding relationship with many of the country’s leading operators and service providers, following her tenure as senior strategic sales manager.
Each of these key changes reflects ATPI’s commitment to developing longstanding members of its team into leadership positions and acknowledges the strengths the company possesses in-house.
Stepping into her new role, Nicola commented: “These changes within our Scottish operations reflect our aims for the future of ATPI globally. Just as important though, they reflect how the team here in Aberdeen has progressed. Throughout my time at ATPI, I have had the opportunity to display my experience and my skillset to support our overall strategy and success. Being part of a company that consistently demonstrates its faith in you and pushes you to keep developing is immensely rewarding.
I am proud of the role I have played within an incredible team that has continued to surpass expectations over the last eight years and fully believe that this success will continue.”
