- Popular breakfast show ‘Bowie@Breakfast’ delivers a market share of 13.9%, reaching 315,000 listeners each week.
- Clyde 1 continues to be Scotland’s largest commercial radio station in terms of reach.
George Bowie’s GBX Saturday night show is the market leader with a 22.5% market share and a reach of 83,000 each week.
Forth 1
- ‘Boogie in The Morning’ continues to dominate as the number 1 commercial breakfast show for the ninth consecutive year, reaching 225,000 listeners each week and commanding a 19.1% share of the market.
- Forth 1 is the overall market leader across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife in terms of reach, up 11,000 on the previous quarter, reaching 334,000 listeners each week.
Northsound 1
Northsound 1 breakfast show ‘Jeff and Lauren in the Morning’ has grown its commercial market lead in the North-east of Scotland achieving a 20.4% share, reaching 87,000 listeners every week.
Radio Borders
- Keith Clarkson at Breakfast attracts 40,600 weekly listeners, up 5% year-on-year with a 35.5% market share in All Adults 15+.
Radio Borders commands a 32.1% share of the market, the highest market share recorded in mainland UK.
MFR
- ‘Ginno@Breakfast’ enjoys a 32.1% share of the market.
- Strong quarter for MFR with the station reporting a 28.1% share of the market, up 7% year-on-year, reaching 127,000 listeners, up 9% year-on-year.
50% of the population in the TSA listen to MFR every week, amounting to more than 1.3 million hours per week.
Tay FM
- Breakfast show ‘Wake up with Webster’ has added 2,000 new listeners since this time last year, with 84,000 people tuning in weekly. It is the number 1 commercial breakfast show in terms of reach for Tayside & Fife.
Tay FM remains all market number one in terms of reach across Tayside and Fife with a total of 132,000 weekly listeners.
Westsound
- Westsound (including West FM) breakfast show records a 26.8% market share.
- Westsound (including West FM) total hours are up 16.8% and share is up 11% year-on year. The station remains number one in terms of reach, hours and share.

Bauer City 2’s network of Scottish stations have increased hours week-on-week (2.121 million v 2.068 million) and increased reach year-on-year (261,000 v 255,000).
