Aberdeen Harbour is the focus of a BBC documentary which focuses on the interesting lives and jobs of people around Scotland. The programme gives a unique view of aspects of the busy port, including the arrival of the world’s largest backhoe dredger and the largest caisson into the expansion project, vital vessel repairs to the survey boat and fascinating maintenance and freight operations.

The filming took place in early 2021 with local film company Tern TV.

The programme was due to screen on BBC One on Wednesday August 18 at 7pm but due to coverage of Afghanistan, this has been delayed and will now be shown tonight (August 20) at 7pm.
