Taking place on March 16 at The Marcliffe Hotel, the inaugural event saw over 260 guests enjoy the themed brunch by dressing up in lavish outfits and enjoying a day of fundraising and games, raising a fantastic £24,500 for local children Befriend a Child supports across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Hosted by the charity’s very own Lady Whistledown, BBC presenter Laura Goodwin, the guests were treated to Bridgerton themed décor from Adesso, entertainment from local singer, Kim Anderson, Northsound 1 DJ Gregisy, a fun 360 photobooth and games as well as delicious food and drinks from the Marcliffe Hotel.
The day was very kindly supported by Houz of Aesthetics as gold sponsors and Macphie as a drinks sponsor.

Sarah Misra, CEO at Befriend a Child said: "The team and I were blown away by the effort our guests put into their outfits, everyone looked fabulous, and it was so fantastic to see everyone have such a wonderful time. The Aberdeen-based charity helps over 250 children annually, matching them with trained volunteer befrienders and mentors who provide friendship, stability, and fun. Befriend a Child relies completely on support from the local community and grants to ensure they can continue providing their vital services.
The charity's waitlist for its services is ever-growing and the £24,500 raised on the night will fund 17 places within the charity's 1:1 befriending programme for local children who are growing up in challenging homelives, experiencing abuse and neglect, low self-esteem and poor mental health.
