Leading engineering and maintenance provider Bilfinger UK is celebrating a quadruple nomination for the cHeRries Awards, which recognises excellence in HR and people management across the UK.

Bilfinger’s Recruitment Team, who have worked tirelessly to attract and retain the best talent, has been nominated for Team of the Year, while the Training and Competency team has been nominated for Learning Development of the Year for their innovative and effective training programs to help our employees develop their skills and advance their careers.

Laura Hardie, Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor, and Kelly Paddon, HR Business Partner, have both been nominated for Professional of the Year. In addition, Kelly has also been nominated for HR Local Hero due to her commitment to volunteering, fundraising and supporting good causes in the community.

Laura has played a key role in promoting the health and well-being of the Bilfinger workforce, regardless of location, while Kelly has been a passionate advocate for EDI and driving change within the industry.

Both Kelly and Laura have undergone offshore safety survival training so they can visit the workers on board various assets to ensure they are connecting and engaging with a personal and tailored approach.
