Following two years of ongoing assessment ranging from an initial Gap Survey to Stage I and Stage 2 assessments and a final review to ensure that Body & Face had met the workplace and documentation improvements required by the LRQA assessor on September 7, 2022 Body & Face gained accreditation against the ISO 22716:2007 (Good Manufacturing Practice) Standard. As a small organisation of nine employees manufacturing personal care products this is particularly gratifying and opens up increased product opportunities.

With regards to staffing Body & Face has offered permanent employment as of September 1 to Patrycja Golda as Trainee Product Development Technician. Patrycja was originally appointed under the Kickstart Scheme providing opportunities for those aged 16-24. Patrycja is now undertaking the Society of Cosmetics Scientists Diploma in Cosmetic Science having successfully completed relevant modules of the Introductory Course.
