Bon Accord has installed a sandy beach and summer garden in the centre to give visitors the chance to enjoy their favourite summer activities – whatever the weather.
Located in the lower mall, near Costa, visitors can enjoy a taste of Summer in the City whilst out shopping until August 19.
Popular North-east vlogging family, The Youngs, along with owner of The Bay Fish & Chips, Calum Richardson, helped launch the beach last week, encouraging visitors to make use of the unique space, which has seen many families enjoy the installation in its first week.
The beach will be a constant in the lower atrium throughout the school holidays. There are also a variety of different pop up shops, beauty pods and fashion displays happening over the course of summer.
Revolution will be in serving “mocktails on the beach” from 12pm on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15.
Bon Accord has not only brought the beach to the city centre but also has set up a sports garden showing the World Cup final on Sunday July 15 at 4pm as well as the rest of the Wimbledon matches. Little Bounce is taking place on the Roof Garden above St Nicholas daily from 10am-4pm, giving younger guests the chance to enjoy some inflatable fun.
