BePerfect opened its doors at Trinity Centre Aberdeen last night, Thursday, October 9, to an outstanding response from shoppers and beauty fans.

The centre welcomed over 16,000 visitors throughout the day, creating a fantastic buzz across the venue.

Excited customers started queuing from lunchtime in anticipation of the new makeup brand’s opening. The entranceway between HMV and Poundland saw footfall increase by a massive 261%, as revellers gathered for the grand opening. Between 3pm and 6pm, more than 8,000 people entered the centre, highlighting the strong interest in BPerfect’s arrival.

Brendan McDowell, founder of BPerfect, and special guest Ekin-Su from Love Island joined for the official ribbon cutting, drawing enthusiastic crowds and adding to the excitement.

BPerfect commented: “This has been the best launch event we’ve had outside of Ireland. We can’t compliment the centre and its customers enough for the incredible support and atmosphere. We’re really excited to be coming to Aberdeen—our online sales saw a massive surge from this area, and we knew we had to bring a store to the city.”

Kenny Bruce, centre manager for Trinity Aberdeen, commented: “It’s been amazing to see the uplift across the whole centre as we welcomed brands like Lovisa and BePerfect, which beautifully complement our existing offering and further enhance what Trinity Centre has to offer.

"Aberdeen is on the up, and here at the Trinity Centre, our Producers Market continues to be a massive hit with visitors.

"We welcomed We Too back in 2022 to open their Ninja HQ here in the centre and expanding that relationship has gone from strength to strength. They have also taken over the vacated former Debenhams space back in October 2023 to enhance their service provision here in the city.

"It’s fantastic to see previously mothballed space brought back into use—even though it’s out of sight, the work being done is truly impactful across Aberdeen.

"Their Collabz space on the ground floor has enabled local businesses like Kat Size Lingerie and Style for Your Shape to access city centre retail space that may otherwise have been out of reach. Watching charities and local businesses working together, hand in hand, to support the centre has been fantastic and is a testament to our commitment to the Aberdeen community.”

The opening of BPerfect continues Trinity Centre’s mission to deliver top shopping experiences, support local enterprise, and bring exciting new brands to the heart of the city.
