Cash for Kids & Northsound 1 are proud and excited to announce the launch of Ultimate Amadeus Anthems.
The event, hosted by Griegsy, aims to bring back the ‘vibe’ of Amadeus from the 90s and 00s. Thanks to Partners Grampian Fireplaces and Stoves and OGV Podium all proceeds from the event will support the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal! The Mission Christmas appeal sponsored by The Orthodontic Clinic focuses on supporting children and young people affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or with additional needs, ensuring they wake up to a gift this Christmas. It is expected that the charity will receive 6,000 applications for their appeal this year.
Greigsy announced the Amadeus party night on Friday ahead of playing his weekly Amadeus Anthem on the Northsound 1 Breakfast Show with Jeff Diack. Earlier this year he invited listeners to pick and vote for their ultimate Amadeus Anthems before compiling and playing out the Top 10 Countdown on a special show.

The exciting event will be held at OGV Podium on Saturday 4th November 2023 and tickets are on sale now via Ultimate Amadeus Anthems LIVE! - Tickets and Information | Events - Northsound 1 (planetradio.co.uk). Aberdeen’s famous Amadeus was known to be a night filled with fun and dancing with your friends and this never been done before event is set to highlight this whilst re-living the 90s!
Cash for Kids Charity Manager Jamie Smith said “We are very excited to be holding an event so close to the heart of many Aberdonians. Amadeus is always a talking point and to have Griegsy hosting the event you are sure to get lots of Amadeus nostalgia throughout the night. We are very thankful to OGV Energy for providing the venue and to Grampian Fireplaces & Stoves for sponsoring the event meaning every penny raised on the night and through ticket sales will help local children and young people this Christmas.”
