Liberty, a new retirement village being built at the heart of the growing town of Chapelton, has appointed its first local sales lead - as interest in the new over-55s community grows.
Vivian Bisset, a property manager with more than 20 years’ experience in the Scottish residential market, will become Liberty’s first local sales lead and run the newly-opened Liberty sales suite at Liddell Park in Chapelton.
Vivian has worked for some of the biggest names in Scottish property, including Bruce & Partners, CALA Homes, and most recently Muir Homes. These long-term roles have seen her managing not just sales, but also factoring duties – which focuses on ensuring the long-term satisfaction of residents moving into new developments.
Vivian’s new role will see her manage the entire sales process for customers at Liberty Chapelton, where a show home is due to open in Summer 2018, ahead of the full village’s completion in 2019.
Liberty Chapelton will form an integral part of Cairnhill, Chapelton’s very first ‘neighbourhood’. Built around a village hub with amenities like a brasserie and club lounge, the Liberty village will comprise a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments and cottages with on-site care available.
Karl Hallows, director of development and sales at Liberty Retirement Living, said: “Employing our first local sales manager is an exciting step for Liberty, and testament to the growing local interest we’re receiving for this new proposition in Aberdeenshire.”
“Vivian brings a wealth of experience to our team in Chapelton, and has shown a real passion for ensuring residents feel settled in their new homes. We’re delighted to have her on board and overseeing our new Chapelton sales suite throughout the week.”
Vivian Bisset, Sales Manager at Liberty Chapelton, said: “When I heard about the vision for Liberty Chapelton, I knew that I wanted to be involved. Not only is Liberty an exciting new company with bold ambitions, it’s also a unique concept in this part of Scotland - offering the very best opportunities for later life.
“Choosing a suitable home for your retirement is such an important decision, and has to be the right choice for everyone. I’m looking forward to helping people understand exactly what a retirement village can offer, and how to make the most out of their retirement.”
In her spare time, Vivian likes nothing better than exploring the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside with her husband and their working cocker spaniel ‘Beau’.
“This is such a stunning part of the country, with incredible beaches and coastline for all ages to enjoy – anyone moving to Chapelton will have such incredible opportunities right on their doorstep.”
