Chorus has strengthened its commercial team with two key hires, marking a significant step forward in its ambitious growth strategy following substantial investment earlier this year.
Lancaster-based Kate Townsend has joined as head of sales, while Megan Burns, based in Edinburgh, has been appointed as content and community manager.
These appointments are designed to accelerate Chorus’s impact in delivering engaging, people-focused digital learning and competence management solutions across safety-critical industries including utilities, infrastructure, and energy.
The expansion follows a surge in demand for Chorus’s software and products in the UK and internationally. Backed by recent venture capital investment, the company is driving product development and market expansion to meet this growing demand and scale effectively.

Kate Townsend brings extensive experience in sales leadership within SaaS and e-learning across the UK. Speaking on her new role, she said: “I’m thrilled to join as head of sales, partnering with such a talented team to lead this next chapter and deliver even more value to our customers.”
In her role, Megan Burns will shape how Chorus connects with its audiences - crafting organic content, building community, and amplifying Chorus’s presence across the digital learning and compliance landscape.
Co-founder Iain Taylor commented: "This is a pivotal moment for Chorus. The appointment of Kate and Megan enhances our ability to deliver on our opportunity to scale, ensuring that we can connect with more clients, deliver even greater value, and strengthen our presence in key markets. We are building a commercial team capable of meeting the opportunities ahead and sustaining long-term success."
