With a rich heritage that spans generations, ComCab will soon be celebrating 70 years of service – Aberdeen’s longest established taxi company. It is fitting that as ComCab prepares to celebrate this milestone anniversary, they have become exclusive partners with Aberdeen Football Club.
In December 2021, ComCab announced an exclusive partnership with the Pittodrie side, becoming exclusive BOA (By Official Appointment) partners, which in the words of ComCab general manager, Scott Douglas was possibly “the easiest decision” he had to make in 2021. The BOA model isn’t just about the ComCab branding adorning the terraces, it’s also an opportunity to connect with other likeminded businesses and support the club and its ongoing community engagement initiatives. “In becoming BOA partners, we are not just supporting the team, but also the community and people of Aberdeen” said Scott.
As ComCab look towards the future, they do so with optimism. Whilst it has been well publicised in the media the effect of the pandemic on the taxi industry both locally and globally, ComCab remain committed to supporting their drivers, clients, and customers. Whereas other businesses in the industry have scaled back their spending and ambitions, ComCab are increasing their investment and opportunities. Such is the commitment to generate more business, a new sales manager has been recruited. Andrew Duncan recently joined the sales team, bringing a wealth of experience in the ground transport sector, and a comprehensive knowledge of Aberdeen and what makes the city tick. Andrew’s enthusiastic approach and desire to provide outstanding service to ComCab’s corporate clients, encompasses the ambition of where ComCab are heading.
With a vast array of corporate clients, ComCab are not just the go-to transport provider for many multi-national blue-chip organisations, but also for hundreds of smaller businesses across the city.
ComCab’s highly respected account manager, Paula Blake enthused: “the best thing about working for ComCab is being able to work with and support so many different types and sizes of businesses. Over the past eighteen months, we have been fortunate to help and assist so many different businesses in our region as they looked to provide safe transport for themselves and employees”. Scott Douglas puts the success of ComCab down to the “ongoing commitment and professionalism of Paula and the team to provide such attentive care and support to all customers. Companies large and small all deserve to be treated equally”.
There is a pride and passion running through the core of the business, one that is focused on providing the best possible service, and continues to develop, and invest in technology, ensuring ComCab continues to lead the way.
