With the exception of creating ensuite bathrooms for every bedroom a recent construction exercise has been completed at Raemoir, the first major works that have taken place at the B listed property since its east extension was built in 1927.
A beautifully handcrafted staircase, which accurately replicates the grandeur of the main staircase in the house dating from 1817, has been installed to allow guests internal access the lower ground floor area, the new toilet facilities and the Marquee, which was originally only accessible from the grounds outside.
Raemoir is a private event venue sitting in 14 acres of secluded grounds just outside Banchory and 20 minutes from Aberdeen. Available every day of the year, and provided with a full compliment of staff, it can cater for all private and corporate requirements including accommodation by way of 18 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 34 people. The grounds, including the Fire Pit, are perfect for outdoor activities including mini-Highland Games and Clay Pigeon Shooting and the House can cater for up to 120 with the connected Marquee providing additional space for up to 400.
