Local creative agency Mearns & Gill announce today (September 28) the official launch of its new purpose-built streaming studio, in partnership with Stream Television, located in the heart of Aberdeen city centre.
The Carden Place agency has joined forces with Stream Television to offer an internet streaming studio which boasts broadcast television quality for events and projects.
Mike Wilson, managing director of Mearns & Gill, says: “Over the past year, webinars and digital events have become part of everyday life with multiple video-conferencing platforms now on the market. Our aim was to bring digital events up a level and by incorporating a television quality live stream element, due to our partnership with Stream Television, we can do just that. M&G TV + Stream Television was borne out of the desire to elevate digital events in this new hybrid events world.”
Stream Television’s Roy Stewart and Andrew Dunn have over 35 years’ experience in both corporate events and live broadcast television.
Roy Stewart commented: “We have invested in the very latest technology including 4k cameras, vision mixing, green screen, set lighting and audio to allow us to offer live streaming of events to a television broadcast standard. We have already delivered a range of different productions streamed live from our studio in Aberdeen and look forward to a busy few months."
Roy continues: “From fully branded digital event production with multiple presenters calling from different locations to enabling presenters who cannot travel due to restrictions to still present, we can help businesses achieve their event, engagement and project goals. The studio space is very flexible and can be used for everything from AGM’s to town halls and awards ceremonies to product launches.”
Mearns & Gill and SCDI are running a partnership event and open day this Wednesday (29th
