egg, Scotland’s largest women-focused community and business network, has announced that its Women on Top tour will come to Aberdeen this March - with free childcare provided to allow more mothers and carers to attend.

The Aberdeen event will take place on Wednesday, March 11 from 10am-12pm at Union Kirk with tickets priced at £20 for egg members and £25 for non-members.

The series of events is supported by the Ecosystem Fund, backed by the Scottish Government. The fund aims to strengthen Scotland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and remove barriers for underrepresented founders.

The Women on Top Scotland tour, which will also stop in Dundee, Perth and Glasgow, brings together founders, leaders, freelancers and aspiring entrepreneurs for a series of conversation-led events designed to inspire confidence, share lived experience and foster meaningful connection.

Speakers at the Aberdeen event include Dr Emma Hepburn, clinical psychologist and founder of The Psychology Mum; Milly Tamati, founder of Generalist World; Steph Eady, co-founder of Mission10 and creator of The Wee Hive; and Stacey Will, founder of Personal Growth Collective.

The tour forms part of egg’s wider ambition to connect women across Scotland and build the UK’s largest digital network for women, ensuring that access to opportunity, inspiration and support is not limited by geography, income or life stage.

Kylie Reid, founder of egg, said: “If we’re serious about supporting women in business, we have to be honest about the barriers they face. Childcare, confidence, access to networks are not side issues - they are fundamental.

“With Women on Top, and through egg’s wider community and Business Club, we’re designing support that actually works for women’s lives - connecting them across Scotland and giving them access to opportunity without asking them to choose between ambition and care.”

Dr Emma Hepburn said: “I’m really excited to be joining this event and that egg is bringing it to Aberdeen. It’s so important that we support women in business: by coming together as a community not only can we recognise and validate the issues we face, but together we can also find and build solutions to help support us both individually and collectively.”

Alongside its events programme, egg’s Business Club provides year-round digital support, including mentoring, expert-led content, peer connection and opportunities for visibility.
