AFC Community Trust (AFCCT) will take centre stage in the UEFA Conference League thanks to the generosity of Aberdeen FC Partner, EIS Waste Services.
EIS Waste Services, the leading Aberdeen-based waste management and recycling company, has very kindly donated its designated sponsorship space to AFCCT for the forthcoming European group stage matches.
This generous gesture from EIS Waste Services, who are long standing supporters of the club, will see the Trusts’ logo proudly displayed on the back of the Dons’ men’s first team shirts during the European campaign. This will provide the charity with a high-profile platform on a global stage and further underlines EIS Waste Services’ commitment to supporting the local community.
EIS Waste Services, which recently extended its partnership with Aberdeen FC as the club’s Official Recycling Partners, saw this as a unique opportunity to use its relationship with the club to further benefit the charity who do so much to change lives for the better in the North-east.

“As a local company we are incredibly proud to support the fantastic work of the AFC Community Trust,” said Neil Sharp, Managing Director at EIS Waste Services.
“When the club approached us about offering a charitable organisation the chance to utilise this sponsorship opportunity it made complete sense to us to leverage our partnership with the club to shine a spotlight on the incredible impact the Trust has on people’s lives every single day.
“Seeing the AFCCT logo on the back of the players’ jerseys during the European games will be a source of immense pride for everyone associated with EIS Waste Services.”
The Aberdeen FC Community Trust works tirelessly to provide support and opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds across Aberdeen City and Shire through a wide range of football, education and health and wellbeing programmes.
Commenting on this unique collaboration, Matt Nicol, interim chair of AFCCT, said: “We are incredibly grateful to EIS Waste Services for this very kind gesture which will enable us to raise the profile of our work to a much wider audience, both at home and abroad.
“The exposure it will provide is invaluable as a means of raising awareness, and we hope, inspiring new partnerships and support that can help change lives for the better.
