Chest,
Heart & Stroke Scotland is launching its newest charity store in Elgin next
month. The store is due to open at the end of January and will be based
at Elgin Retail Park on Edgar Road and the charity is looking for help from the
local community to get it off to a successful start.
The
shop will primarily stock high-quality women’s wear, accessories, and
jewellery, as well as a selection of men’s wear, childrenswear, and bric-a-brac
to homeware, and is on the lookout for donations ahead of the opening
date.
Chest,
Heart & Stroke Scotland is also keen to hear from any would-be volunteers
from the local area who are keen to give the gift of time by volunteering with
the charity and help people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions live
their lives to the full.
Andrew Thomson, manager of the Chest Heart & Stroke
Scotland Elgin store, said: “We are
incredibly excited to be launching our newest charity stores in Elgin, and to
involve the local community in making it a success.
“Donations
from the community and local volunteers are key to our retail offering,
and we’d love to hear from anyone with a love of fashion and retail who would
like to support our fundraising activities through our new boutique.”
Earlier
this year, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland relaunched its No Life Half Lived
strategy which has set an ambitious target for the charity to support an
additional 175000 people over the next five years through its community
healthcare support services.
Donations
can be dropped off at the store, from mid-January at Unit
6, Elgin Retail Park, Edgar Road, Elgin . Anyone
