Fifth Dimension, a renowned team of business presenters and magicians that has performed across the globe, brought its unique branded magic to Rock Flow Dynamics’ stand at the Petex exhibition in London.
With over 22 years’ experience of using magic to effectively convey their clients’ messages at exhibitions, conferences and seminars, Jeff Burns and Ivor Smith of Fifth Dimension were delighted to be approached by Rock Flow Dynamics to help reinforce its presence at Petex by attracting and retaining visitors to the stand through a series of themed magical presentations.
Rock Flow Dynamics is the developer of tNavigator, a high-performance tool for integrated static and dynamic modelling from reservoir to surface networks.
Ivor Smith said: “When we were approached by Rock Flow Dynamics, we worked closely with them to get an understanding of tNavigator’s features and benefits. With that information, we then developed a series of magical pieces that helped us highlight each point and created a series of short presentations featuring those performances to be delivered at regular intervals on the exhibition stand.”
Scott Harrison, director of Rock Flow Dynamics, brought Fifth Dimension in after working with the team – and seeing branded magic in action – at previous events. He said: “The synergy between Rock Flow Dynamics and Fifth Dimension is quite compelling. Both companies deliver something (their magic and our tNavigator software) that in front of your eyes looks amazing, feels like it cannot be true (and is really quite complex)… yet, it is delivered with simplicity, style and fun. With the support, professionalism and creativity of Jeff and Ivor we manage to capture people’s imaginations and spend time with them to show firstly our technology, and equally importantly the quality of our people. By joining efforts, the number of connections and opportunities grow enormously for our business.”
Specialising in supporting a company’s specific exhibition goals by creating innovative presentations that weave brand and product information into presentations, the team at Fifth Dimension uses magic as a visual aid to ensure its presentations are fun, impactful and memorable.
Jeff Burns explained: “We have discovered that magic really captivates an audience – especially in a setting where they don’t necessarily expect to be entertained, like an exhibition. At the Petex exhibition we delivered our short presentations and in doing so attracted visitors to the stand. When we finished our sets, we immediately introduced and handed over to a member of the Rock Flow Dynamics team who delivered a short, more in-depth, presentation on tNavigator to the audeince.”
Scott Harrison added: “We have to stand out from the rest of the crowd in our market space. When we did some analysis of what our competition says, it is all quite similar and, if we’re being honest, it’s a little mundane. A huge asset we feel that we have is the foundation of the company and the spirit of our team, which is an embodiment of our ownership. Despite our very strong growth in recent years, we have to remain agile and human, but with high energy to ensure we are supporting and listening to our clients. Our shared collaboration with Fifth Dimension is all about impact and appearance. It feels like a partnership because of shared attitude and professionalism. We very much see them as an extension to our team because of their amazing talent and incredible ability to understand how to best serve our goals and objectives. Working with Jeff and Ivor is a total pleasure for all our team and clients alike.”
Jeff Burns concluded: “It was great to be back delivering our branded magic at an in-person exhibition for the first time in two years. We’d like to thank the team at Rock Flow Dynamics for bringing us on board and we’re really looking forward to working with them again at Offshore Europe in February 2022.”
