Fifth Ring is incredibly honoured to have received the B2B Gold Award at The Drum Awards for Marketing EMEA, held in London.

The category was filled with outstanding campaigns from global brands such as Heineken, Samsung, and HSBC.

This recognition celebrates the Aberdeen-based agency’s work with MRS Training & Rescue, who partnered with Fifth Ring to tackle a critical industry challenge: the persistent lack of proper training and awareness around confined space work, where a single mistake can have life-threatening consequences.

Initially, MRS Training & Rescue approached the organisation to promote its training hub. But a far greater opportunity was quickly recognised: to shift the conversation, drive awareness, and create real, measurable impact in an industry where safety can never be taken for granted.

To bring this vision to life, Fifth Ring created “No Room for Error” - a bold, content-driven B2B campaign designed to confront the dangers of confined space work head-on. Combining emotive video storytelling, hard-hitting visuals, a thought-provoking white paper, and a precisely targeted LinkedIn campaign, it connected with decision-makers across oil & gas, construction, and machinery manufacturing - the industries most affected by this issue.

The results spoke volumes. Within the first month alone, click-through and view rates exceeded industry benchmarks, confirming strong engagement from the audience. The campaign generated over 511,000 impressions, more than 107,500 video views, and 55 qualified leads - including one that resulted in 110 training opportunities. MRS Training & Rescue also experienced a 75–100% increase in monthly revenue, directly tied to the campaign, and expanded their team by hiring four new staff to meet growing demand.

But beyond the impressive metrics, this campaign created lasting change. No Room for Error elevated MRS Training & Rescue’s voice and visibility, reinforcing its position as a trusted leader in confined space safety. It transformed how people think, act, and approach safety in some of the world’s most dangerous working environments.

Account manager Nicole Quirie, who attended the ceremony alongside head of energy insight Andrew Bradshaw, said: “Success is always rewarding, but our hope is that this campaign achieved more than just numbers. It helped save lives.

“MRS Training & Rescue was thrilled with the outcome, recognising both the commercial impact and how we pushed creative boundaries to deliver something truly original. For all of us, this award is more than a trophy. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when the right partnership meets the right purpose.”

This award marks the latest in a growing list of accolades for Fifth Ring this year, including recognition as Scotland’s leading independent B2B marketing agency.
