International Energy company GEOLOG is making it possible for
local children to enjoy a festive celebration this year by sponsoring Befriend
a Child’s Christmas Party. The festive period can be a particularly difficult
time of year for the children the charity supports, and the Christmas party is
something the children really look forward to.
Over 180 children and volunteers will attend the annual event held
at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel, enjoying festive games, a full traditional
Christmas dinner and a visit from Santa with gifts to take home.
Sarah Misra, CEO at Befriend a Child said: “We are extremely grateful to GEOLOG for making Christmas extra special for the children and young people we support, many of whom are going through a particularly difficult time in their young lives. The festive party gives them a sense of connection, belonging and joy.”
As well as sponsoring the Christmas Party at The Aberdeen Altens Hotel, the company supports Befriend a Child throughout the year. Recently, GEOLOG has funded much-needed upgrades to Befriend a Child’s offices at Bon Accord Square.
