Newly launched in early 2025, Go To First Aid Training is already making strong strides in the local business community after attending a networking event hosted by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC).
The company, founded by experienced trainers Dr. Kate Goodhand and Donald Todd specialises in delivering high-quality First Aid at Work courses, CPR and AED training, and bespoke emergency first aid sessions tailored to the needs of businesses, organisations and individuals across the North-east.
More information about its services can be found at www.gotofirstaidtraining.co.uk.
Seeking to explore opportunities and better understand the benefits of AGCC membership, Go To First Aid Training attended the Chamber’s popular “Maximise Your Membership” event earlier this year at the Hub. The event brought together a variety of businesses, both established and new, offering a platform to learn about AGCC’s activities, membership advantages, and, crucially, to network.
That networking quickly paid off. Within 24 hours, Newmachar Golf Club contacted Go To First Aid Training to arrange first aid at work training for their staff, marking the company’s first formal business partnership.
Speaking after the successful collaboration, a spokesperson for Go To First Aid Training said: "The Chamber of Commerce event made it clear to us how powerful local business connections can be. We’re delighted that Newmachar Golf Club chose to support a local training provider and meet their first aid legislative requirements with us. It’s an exciting start for our new company, and we look forward to growing alongside our business community."
AGCC membership has already proven its value for Go To First Aid Training, underlining the Chamber’s role in helping new businesses to connect, collaborate and thrive in a competitive marketplace.
