Greenwell, a leading provider of new and used shipping and storage containers, has made a generous contribution to the Denis Law Legacy Trust by donating a shipping container.
The container will be used as a secure storage unit to support the Trust's activities for young people in the Torry area.
ETZ, a private sector-led and not-for-profit company in the North East has also contributed to the project by providing funding through their Community & Coast Fund for the container to be cladded by Hunter Construction then decorated inside and out upon delivery.
Scott Brown, Sales Director at Greenwell said: "We are proud to support the Denis Law Legacy Trust and the incredible work they do not only in the Torry area but across the city. Hopefully this container will allow the team to deliver equipment where it's needed and keep their programs running smoothly."
The Denis Law Legacy Trust, named after the legendary Scottish footballer from Aberdeen, operates several programs including Streetsport, the Denis Law Legacy Trust’s flagship programme, delivered in partnership with Robert Gordon University, which has been widely recognised as having an impact in tackling youth disengagement through sport, education, and mentoring.
Aimee Culley, Streetsport Operations Co-ordinator at the Denis Law Legacy Trust said: "Working with ETZ, Hunter Construction & Greenwell has been a wonderful experience, their generous donation and ongoing support will now enable us to provide an extensive range of activities in the Torry area."
Greenwell, established in 1996, provide new and used containers for shipping and storage, as well new and used office furniture, portable and modular buildings, warehouse racking and shelving systems, available for sale or rental from their depot in Aberdeen.
