Leading auctioneering companies, Thainstone Specialist Auctions and Aberdeen & Northern Marts (divisions of ANM Group) held a series of Live Online Collective sales at Thainstone Centre on Wednesday, September 14, including a Timed Online Auction of Building and Industrial equipment.
The online auctions saw 1,449 entries – a 10% increase on last year’s sale – with each section achieving strong prices, demonstrating that good quality second hand equipment continues to see high demand within the market. Highlights from the sale include a 2012 JCB 4CX 4 wheel drive backhoe digger reaching the top price of £30,200 followed by a 2006 Massey Ferguson 5455 4 wheel drive tractor achieving £14,600 both in the tractors, telehandlers and plant equipment section. In the implements category a 14 tonne Chieftain dump trailer sold for £4,200 and in the 4x4’s and light commercials section a 2016 Ford transit 460 Econetic mini bus sold for the price of £14,500. Lastly, the trailers, containers and caravans section saw a Space Project hook lift welfare unit achieve £10,800.
