Ingersoll Rand welcomed customers, partners and guests to its Aberdeen facility for an open day celebrating the site’s transition from MB Air Systems to the Ingersoll Rand brand.
The event marked a visible milestone for the business, which has recently unveiled new Ingersoll Rand signage at its Aberdeen office. MB Air Systems has been part of Ingersoll Rand for many years, following a long-standing relationship as the global organisation’s regional distributor, and the rebrand further strengthens the company’s presence in the north-east.
Former Aberdeen Football Club player and Gothenburg Great Neil Simpson joined Ingersoll Rand regional director Derek Leith to officially inaugurate the depot, with attendees given the opportunity to meet the local team and learn more about the company’s expanded capability.
Although the logo on the building has changed, the Aberdeen team continues to provide the same expertise, service and dedication to customers across a wide range of industries, including energy, manufacturing, food and beverage, life sciences and infrastructure.
The business specialises in compressed air, nitrogen systems, winch and hoist equipment and power tools, with its Aberdeen facility supporting customers through sales, service, aftermarket activity and workshop capability.
Derek Leith, regional director at Ingersoll Rand, said: “It was fantastic to welcome customers new and old to the Aberdeen facility and to thank everyone who joined the team for the open day.
“The transition to Ingersoll Rand builds on the strong foundation created by the people of MB Air Systems. While the signage has changed, the hard work, technical expertise and commitment to customers remain exactly the same, and the rebrand gives the business even greater resources to support customers across Scotland.”
Ingersoll Rand said the open day was an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of the Aberdeen team and recognise the customers who have supported the business throughout its growth and transition.
