Leading North-east social care charity Inspire are delighted to announce the appointment of CEO Linda Gray.
Linda has almost two decades of experience in the third sector, having worked within the senior management team at Inspire for the past eight years and as Director of Corporate Services since 2012. With an in-depth knowledge of the organisational strengths and areas for development, Linda’s appointment will ensure the organisation continues to build on successes and implement improvements where needed.
Linda said: “I am delighted with my recent appointment. Empowering the life choices of the people we support is a great passion of mine and to be afforded the responsibility to lead the organisation in achieving this vision is a great opportunity and privilege.
Inspire teams continue to provide an excellent person-centred support, and I hope that my appointment will bring continued stability and a fresh outlook as we work to combat both internal challenges and challenges for the social care sector more widely.”
Linda’s appointment heralds a step-change in the internal organisational structure as Inspire also welcomes John Tomlinson, as director of development on a part-time basis.
Linda added: “John is very well respected within the sector and has vast third sector experience, and I am sure that his influence will help us to set and move towards strategic goals.”
John joins Linda as part of Inspire’s Leadership Team alongside director of operations George McCulloch and director of People Sharon Catchpole.
