Inveruire Beer Festival @ Lochter Activity Centre 2018

With the year racing on its nearly time for the annual Inverurie Beer Festival presents Beer @ the barn Lochter 2018 April 20 - 21, 2018.

For the third your running now local Banchory brother's Mungo & Guy Finlayson, the founders of popular festival Banchory Beer Festival, Inverurie Beer Festival and OriGINs – The Scottish Gin Festival are returning to Oldmeldrum’ s Lochter Activity Centre for “Beer @ the Barn Lochter" their mini Inverurie fling. Beer @ the Barn is a two-day festival being held, on April 20 - 21.

Featuring an elective range of fifteen beers, nine gins, two rums, prosecco and ciders there is something to drink for everyone. To accompany the drinks there is live music during all three sessions and if that wasn't enough to tempt the taste buds there will be an offering of food including middle eastern chicken shawarma, pheasant & pork burgers, haddock goujons and lots more tasty treats!

Mungo Finlayson, festival operations director & co-founder said " We are excited to be offering our biggest range of gins yet at our Lochter Activity Centre festival. Including local gins Esker, Teasmith, Jindea and others from around Scotland and everyone’s favourite from Warner Edwards Distillery, their Elderflower Gin.

The festival welcomes a range of music throughout the 2 days/ 3 sessions including local talent – Callum Hey Music, Jack Marshall, The Capollos, Black Foot John, Cyrus Rose and Kent band “Gentleman of Few”

Beers are on offer from the following breweries Brew Toon, Cloudwater Brew Co., Cromarty Brewery, Dalrannoch, Magic Rock, Wild Beer Co. and some other great breweries! With many of these being a first-time appearance for the festival.

Guy Finlayson, director of drinks & co-founder said, " I'm really pleased to have a great list of beers on offer at this year's Beer @ the Barn, including Cloudwater Brew Co, which has been listed as one of the top breweries in the world after just two years of trading. As always we like to support local breweries and bring in beers from further afield so there is a wide range of beers on offer for all these beer fans."

Inveruire Beer Festival continue their transport partnership with Bains Coaches, offering a convenient shuttle bus from both Inverurie’s town hall and Oldmeldrum. Shuttles buses will be running both prior to the start of each festival session and at the end to allow festival goes an easy option home. Lochter Activity Centre also has great transport link with train and bus services to Inveruire from various directions. Full transport information will be included in festival programmes.

Tickets cost £17.50 per session plus EventBrite booking fee and include your first drinks token, a festival programme, a festival cup and all the live music.
