Join the team at Aberdeen Science Centre for a unique evening of flavour and fascination at The Science of Whisky, taking place on Thursday, 22nd May.
This special event blends science with Scotland’s most iconic spirit for a memorable night of learning and tasting.
Guided by Mike Stuart from Inverurie Whisky Shop and independent bottler Andrew Smith of Little Brown Dog Spirits, you'll explore the science behind whisky maturation and uncover how casks shape far more than flavour. Enjoy a curated tasting of three drams designed to reveal the hidden chemistry of whisky.
After the tasting, you'll have the opportunity to chat with the experts, ask your burning whisky questions, and purchase your favourite bottles on-site.
Whether you're a whisky enthusiast or just curious, this is your chance to sip, learn, and explore. Tickets are £25, with arrival from 6:30pm and the event running from 7pm to 9pm. Don’t miss out—secure your spot before the final orders are called!
Please note this event is strictly for over-18s only. If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25 we’ll ask you for ID when you arrive, so please bring some with you to avoid disappointment. Refunds cannot be given if entry is refused due to lack of ID.
