There is still time to apply for a Graduate Apprenticeship through Robert Gordon University in 2022.

The University is offering over 200 fully-funded GA places for entry in September 2022, across a range of disciplines including accountancy, construction, data science, business management and cyber security.

A Graduate Apprenticeship is a fully funded opportunity for any aged individual who is working in Scotland to complete an Honours or Masters degree over the course of four or five years, delivered online, in the workplace and with minimal on-campus requirements.

Developed in collaboration with industry and the further and higher education sectors, GAs allow individuals to get qualified up to Master’s degree level while in paid employment. They are designed by employers and industry and offered in key sectors that need highly skilled employees.

A Graduate Apprenticeship student said, “Overall, the experience has been great. It has been very challenging at times, but I have gained so much from the GA that sacrificing some of my own time has been well worth it. A huge sense of satisfaction comes from submitting an assessment and achieving good grades.”

It’s an opportunity to work full-time alongside studying, with roughly seven hours out of your working week dedicated to completing the qualification alongside work-based learning, affording learners the opportunity to apply their new skills and knowledge into their role. This can be an option for new starts, new roles and anyone currently employed in a relevant role within your business.

A Graduate Apprenticeship mentor said, “Graduate Apprenticeships make a valuable contribution to the workplace from day one and are able to apply their learning straight away. Compared to a graduate who has to reflect on past learning which could be as old as four years ago, this seems to be an obvious benefit.”

RGU is already working in partnership with more than 240 businesses and public sector organisations covering the length and breadth of Scotland.

There are entry requirements for the courses below, however, they can be offset with relevant work experience. The subjects available are:

The registration deadline is Friday 2nd September 2022 for starts this September.
