Cults Bieldside and Milltimber Community Council is running a project aiming to reduce the impact and exploitation of internet scams in their area.
The project is being run by Mr Abiola Abimbola who is a Community Councillor. He is offering to arrange free awareness sessions with non-for-profit organisation and clubs in the Cults, Bieldside, Milltimber and Countesswells area or its immediate surroundings who feel their staff and members could benefit from up-to-date information and advice on these scams so that they are better protected.
This will involve a 20-minute onsite presentation with some of the topics being covered including:
- Phishing
- Romance fraud
- Identity fraud and identity theft
- Investment fraud
