In time for the TUBS 2022, a local writer, storyteller and chamber member is delighted to share her new logo following a business rebrand. After four years of helping clients reach their audience with a creative approach, writer Sarah Thomas has finally turned the kind of spotlight she uses on her clients onto her own business.

The notion of a rebrand occurred after attending an AGCC event on presentation skills, where Sarah realised that her current business name, Sarah Thomas Storyteller, wasn't focused enough. While most of her clients in London came from referrals, setting out on her Aberdeen adventure called for a fresh look at her business and services.

Step one in the process was creating a new business name and tagline. The Content Storyteller keeps the creative angle, which is essential in her work. With this title, she is moving away from creating platform-anchored content, such as a website or a landing page and onto creating stories that businesses can use across all channels.

This approach sees business stories as dynamic and malleable. So, with the fundamentals in place, owners can get creative about how and where they tell their stories. In addition, she's interested in inspiring and empowering others to inspire the world with their tales.

Step two involved finding a talented graphic designer to create a logo representing her brand values and ambitions. She found that talent in Fiona Roberson Graphics, a local designer who provides creative branding for small businesses with big ideas.

A good content storyteller knows that having a creative pair of hands on your business is an enormous benefit. The design features of the new logo have inspired the new tagline 'Illuminate Your Business.'

Now the business title, logo and tagline are united in their purpose.

With her logo and brand strategy complete, The Content Storyteller is in the process of creating a new website with updated packages aimed at helping businesses articulate their story. As mentioned above, she's interested in providing clients with a value that goes beyond the work they do together.
