Leading risk and marine consultancy Marex has appointed Kai Henderson to the newly created role of data scientist and AI (artificial intelligence) specialist.
Kai – this year’s Rising Star winner at the Northern Star Business Awards - was previously the Aberdeen-based business’s commercial lead & data analyst.
The move was driven by Marex’s recognition of the growing role AI can play in driving efficiency for clients,
Kai will be using his skills to develop programs and AI-powered tools to streamline operations, automate repetitive tasks and enhance decision-making.
He will work closely with clients to deliver bespoke AI solutions, including automation systems, AI agents and AI infrastructure that can significantly reduce costs and save time.
