St. James’s Place has reported record assets under management of £220 billion in 2025, as the UK’s largest financial advice business benefited from strong inflows and market performance.

The milestone marks a new high for the wealth manager, driven by growth in both gross and net inflows, underlining continued demand for financial advice despite an uncertain consumer backdrop.

The company now serves 1,037,000 clients across the UK.

The record assets figure capped a year in which the group also delivered a 3% rise in its post-tax underlying cash result to £462.3million and a 33% increase in IFRS profit after tax to £531.4million.

Mark FitzPatrick, chief executive, said the performance reflected both structural demand for advice and the strength of the firm’s partnership model.

He added: "Our achievements in 2025 underscore the enduring need and demand for trusted financial advice. They also demonstrate the strength of our unique Partnership model, which offers clients the best of both worlds: personal advice delivered through long-term, local relationships, backed by the scale, expertise and brand of the UK's leading financial advice business.

"We're building on this foundation by investing further in our capabilities, including enhancing the technology and tools available to our advisers. The goal is simple: to free our advisers to focus on what they do best - building trusted relationships and delivering truly invaluable advice."
