MISS (Miscarriage Information Support Service) are delighted to have two volunteers and one staff member complete their accredited level one and two Mental Health First Aid training by Brett Townsley at Omniscient Safety Innovations. As the impact of baby loss on mental health is becoming better recognised and understood, having the right skills for effective and safe peer support is important to everyone at MISS.
Abi Clarke, founder and chairperson of MISS said, ‘We highly recommend this training for any charities or businesses, no matter how small or large. We learnt a lot in this training and will be implementing the tips and information we have gained in the support we give to our members.’
