MG Search ends first quarter on a high with launch of Aberdeen team

MG Search, Scotland’s newest independent executive search firm, is celebrating its third month in business with an Aberdeen expansion and a recent appointment by one of the UK’s leading paper companies to seek senior talent.

Experienced executive search consultant Jane Setter will head up MG Search’s Aberdeen operations with immediate effect. With over ten years in the recruitment industry both in the UK and Australia, Jane most recently established and headed up Page Group’s Aberdeen office.

MG Search has also recently advised on the appointment of a sales director for PG Paper, undertaking a global search to fulfill the role. Rasmus Myrgren starts the post in November 2018 and joins from Elof Hansson AB.

Ken Morrice, founding partner, MG Search, said: “Ending our first quarter with a team expansion and an appointment by global business PG Paper has brought great energy to our experienced and proactive team. We are delighted to have been retained by PG Paper and we will be undertaking an international proactive search to continue to seek senior talent for the business.

“Expanding to the North-east is a logical step for the development of MG Search. Jane’s longstanding global experience across multiple sectors made her a natural choice for us as she shares our values and aspirations to help MG Search lead the way in a new digital era of executive search. We have also been heartened by the positive reaction we have received from the marketplace since we launched in August.”

MG Search is transforming the way businesses hire leaders and fundamentally changing the future of executive search in the UK and Internationally. By making more noise in the executive search sector they are making the process more transparent, streamlined and digital.
